Insert List From Sidebar

On your computer, open a document in Google Docs.
Tap on "Add-ons menu"". Your current add-ons will be listed.
Tap on "Caption Manager" menu.
Click on the "Open sidebar" button. A sidebar will open on the right side of your screen.
Open the "Insert list"panel, the second item of the sidebar.
Open the "Insert list" panel, the second item of this sidebar.
Click where you want to insert the list on the document.
The list will be inserted in the next paragraph which is part of the main structure of the document.
Select the targeted element type (image, table, or equation) of your list.
Select the targeted list type of your list.
Click on "Insert list" button and wait a few seconds.
